-- Marion Loop of Chicago arrived here this morning and announced the death of his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth M. Loop, which occurred at an Indianapolis Hospital on Tuesday evening at 5:30. She was taken to the hospital two years ago last January and her mental and physical condition gradually grew worse. Elizabeth Wright was born in Virginia Feb 8, 1834, and came here many years ago. She was married to David Loop. One son, Marion Loop of Chicago survies. There are 3 sisters: Mrs. Eliza Golliday of Anthony, Kansas; Mrs. Josie Weaver and Mrsl Mauck, whose addresses are unknown and one brother, Newton Wright of Frankfort. Mrs. Loop was a person of fine intellect and she was an intense Christian woman. Her language was at all times choice. She lived here for almost 40 years and her friends all admired her. Her guardian, George Rowe and TD Hankins went to Indianapolis this morning to bring the body back here to her old home. At this time it is impossible to state where the burial will be but it is likely it will be beside her husband at Providence, as she was a member of the Christian Church, the funeral will no doubt be held there. -- typed by kbz
