ROMNEY-- Mrs. Mildred Martin Long, 48, died at the Robert Long Hospital in Indianapolis at 8:05 p.m. Thursday after an illness of two weeks. Born in Tippecanoe County May 9, 1909, she was the daughter of Chris and Grace Greenburg Martin. She lived in New Richmond until she married Harry Long March 17, 1931, when they moved to Romney where they have resided the past 27 years. She was a member of the New Richmond Church. Surviving besides the husband is a daughter, Mrs. Nancy Smith of Romney. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Russell E. Brown Funeral Home at Linden with Rev. Robert Shanklin of the Romney and Jackson Methodist Church officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Saturday.

LINDEN -- Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Long were held Sunday afternoon at the Russell E. Brown Funeral Home in Linden with Rev. Robert Shanklin, pastor of the Romney and Jackson Heights Methodist churches, in charge of the services. Burial was in the New Richmond Cemetery. Pallbearers were Phil Galloway, Curtis Perkins, Fred Layton, John Chapman, Vernon Parke and Norman Hinkle. The pallbearers also assisted with the flowers
