Waynetown - A most distressing accident occurred here Tuesday afternoon at  the warehouse of WH Lucas. Hardy, a little son of Mr. Lucas, was  playing in the warehouse and unthoughtedly crawled in a large  grain chute, which is used for loading cars. No sooner had he  entered it than several hundred bushels of wheat slipped down  from the upper part of the bin and completely covered him up.  Assistance was rendered immediately and the little fellow was  rescued from the awful situation, but not until life was extinct.  The parents have the sympathy of the entire community in their  sad bereavement. Interment took place at the Masonic Cemetery  Wednesday.
