Laura Ann Linville was born March 15, 1860 and died at her father's near Sugar Grove July 10,1884. She had been in delicate health for two year past and really had been an invalid for one year. It was evident to her family that she was continually hopeful and patient. One reason of this hopefulness was that she was fondly looking to the coming Fall when she was to be united in life as she had long been in heart and her devoted love. But death cannot be bought off with money nor frightened away by threats nor held off by the power of the will nor even be bribed by the dearest affections of the human heart. Laura united with the Methodist Church in her 17th year lived a consistent Christian life and died in the Christian ?
