LINDEN -- John A. Livingston, 83, a life-long resident of New Richmond and Wingate, died Wednesday at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville. Mr. Livingston, the son of Jasper and Polly Livingston, was born in Tippecanoe County on April 27, 1870. He was married to Dona Mitchell in 1899. A retired farmer, he was a member of the Wingate Christian Church. Mr. Livingston is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Ray Simmons, Linden, Mrs. Linda Mae Snuwart of New Richmond, Mrs. Margie Myers of Dayton, Ohio and Mrs. Mildred Fruits of West Point. He is also survived, by two stepdaughters, Mrs. Roxie Binns of Lafayette and Mrs. Nellie Quinn of Harney, Ohio. Also one brother, Charles C. Livingston of Indianapolis and six grandchildren. Services will be held at the King and Brown Funeral Home in Linden at 10 a. m. Friday. The Rev. B. K. Johnston will conduct the services. Burial will be in the New Richmond Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Thursday.

Linden — John A. Livingston, 84, a life resident of the Wingate area, died Wednesday, Feb. 24, in the Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville after an illness of one week. Mr. Livingston, the son of Jasper and Polly Vincent Livingston was born in Tippecanoe County in April, 1869. He was married to Dona Mitchell in 1899, who preceded him in death in 1921. Mr. Livingston was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Wingate Christian Church. Mr. Livingston is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Ray Simmons of Linden, Mrs. Linda Mae Snouwaert of New Richmond, Mrs. Margie Myers of Dayton, O., and Mrs. Mildred Fruits of West Point. He also is survived by two step-daughters, Mrs. Roxie Binns of Lafayette and Mrs. Nellie Guinn of Harvey, Ill. Other survivors include one brother, Charles C. Livingston, of Indianapolis, and six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services were conducted Friday, Feb. 26, at 10 a.m. in the King and Brown Funeral home in Linden with the Rev. Bryan K. Johnston officiating. Burial was in the New Richmond Cemetery. Serving as pall bearers were four grandsons, Leland Rafferty, Charles Rafferty, Joe Meyers, Jr., and Ray Holliday, Jr., and two nephews, Dallas Livingston and William Livingston.
