Linn - Mervin Oakel
Source: Crawfordsville Weekly Journal Friday, 17 February 1899
Tuesday morning at 6 o’clock the angel of death entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Linn and snatched from their embrace one of their treasures, Mervin Oakel, over whose golden head only one short year had flown.. Although his suffering was great he bore it very patiently and as he closed his eyes and flew to his Savior’s waiting arms, a sweet smile brightened his face. He leaves a father, mother, one brother and a great many friends to mourn for him. But what is their loss is his gain. – thanks to S for this one
