Edwin T. Linn Is Dead At 90- Funeral Rites Set For Friday Morning- Edwin T. Linn, 90, died Monday at 8:15 p.m. (EST) at the Pleasant Acres Nursing Home near McCordsville. He had been a patient there for 15 months. Born Nov. 28, 1869, at Linnsburg, he was the son of Martha and Asbury Linn. He married Mary E. Lee, who preceded him in death in 1945. The deceased worked for the New York Central Railroad as a telegrapher and station agent, and was a grocer in Mace and Linnsburg. From 1950 to 1959 he lived in Long Beach, Calif., with his son, Rex. He was a member of the Mace Methodist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Muriel Jarvis of Indianapolis; a son, Rex L. Linn of Long Beach; a brother, Everett Linn of Mace; a sister, Mrs. Fern Chambers of Linnsburg; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death, besides his wife, were a son, Lewis, a brother, Charles, and a sister, Mrs. Grace Peck. Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. (EST) Friday at Bright Funeral Home with Rev. Howard Miller of the 7th Christian Church of Indianapolis officiating. Burial will be in the Mace K. of P. Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
