Margaret Josephine, daughter of Isaac and Zulu Linn, was born Jan. 12, 1891, died Oct. 27, 1901, aged 10 years, 9 months and 15 days. Margaret was a dutiful, loving child. She always had a kind word for all she met. She endeared herself to all who knew her. She was a bright, beautiful child and a great joy in her home. She was very much delighted with Christian songs and during her last days she requested some of her friends to sing, and after singing several songs she asked them to sing something about crossing the river. She realized she must die and she was not afraid. She said to her grandmother that it was all right with her. She was a sweet Christian girl. Saturday morning she said to her father, “don’t worry,” and often spoke to her mother. She was very patient. She leaves father, mother, brother and two grandmothers and a host of friends to mourn her departure.
