BLOOMINGDALE - Clyde D. Lindley, 77, of Bloomingdale Route 1, died at 6:40 p.m. yesterday (June 25, 1969) at the Vermillion County Hospital. He had been ill a week. Born Jan. 10, 1892, at Kingman, he was the son of William and Hannah Caroline Lindley. He was married to Marie Stout, who died in January 1933. He was married June 21, 1941 to Mabel Snow, who survives. He was a member of the Steamfitters Local 157 and Masonic Lodge 127. He was a birthrite member of the Friends Church. He was a veteran of World War I. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mary C. Jeffers of Bloomingdale; two grandchildren and several neices and nephews. He also was preceded in death by four brothers and six sisters. Services will be at 11 a.m. EDT Saturday at Bloomingdale Friends Church. The Rev. Fred Stewart will officiate. Burial will be in Bloomingdale Cemetery. The body is at the Davies-Tudor Funeral Home in Marshall. Friends will be received after 2 p.m. Friday. Masonic services will be at 8:30 p.m. Friday.
