LADOGA - Frank L. Lockridge, 72, died Wednesday at his home seven miles southwest of here. Mr. Lockridge farmed in Montgomery County most of his life. He was a member of the Mace Methodist Church. Born April 13, 1892 near Mace, he was a son of Thomas and Rosetta Gray Lockridge. He was twice married. His first was married Oct. 7, 1914 to Elsie Sparks, who died April 4, 1923. On June 26, 1926 he was married to Irene McIntire, who died last Nov. 16. Surviving are a brother, Dr. Forest Lockridge of Pittsboro; two sisters, Mrs. Jessie Nichols of Ladoga and Mrs. Louie of Ladoga and Mrs. Louis Houser of near New Ross; a niece and four nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles, who died Nov. 7, 1935. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Gephart Funeral Home here with Rev. Donald Marshall officiating. Interment will be in New Ross Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday. - thanks to Kim H
