Darlington, Dec. 9 – Andrew J. Lewis, 84, died Sunday at 2 p. m. in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Eugene Walker west of Darlington. He had been ill only a few days. He was born in Montgomery county and was married in 1899 to Amanda M. Bundy who died in 1935. Surviving are two sons, Lee, of Battle Ground, and Glen of New Castle; eight daughters, Mrs. Guy Hartstock and Mrs. Ray Armstrong, both of Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Grover Smith and Mrs. Eugene Walker, both of Darlington, Mrs. Meda Choebus of Colfax, Mrs. Golden Simmons of Lafayette, Mrs. Ralph Bressler of Thorntown, and Mrs. Nolan Reed of near Frankfort; one step-daughter, Mrs. Pearl Weller, of Colfax; and a brother, Harley of Darlington.
