Lewis - Susan Watts

Susan V., child of James and Peggy Ann Sowers Watt was born Nov 3, 1860 and departed this life Nov 13, 1927. She was the last of her father's famiy. She grew to womanhood in the community where she was born and was converted in her girlhood days and joined the Pleas. Grove Church under the ministery of Rev. JT Phillips. She was united in marriage to J.M. Lewis to this union was born two daughters, Ivy Ann and Maude Glenn, and the granddau Ulela Glynn Cory who with the husband live to mourn the loss of a loving wife and mother. They spent their entire married life in this community with the exception of 18 months spent in Kansas. She lived a true Christ life and was a sincere and tireless worker in the Church and the Aid. in later years whe moved her membership to the United Breth. Church of Kingman of which she was a member at the time of her dath. She bore her sickness with much patience and realizing that Death was not far off several times she expressed herself as being ready when ever the time should come and on the morning of Nov 13 she entered that beautiful Rest. - kbz
