ROACHDALE-O. E. Lewis, 84, of Ladoga, formerly of Roachdale, died Thursday in Winona Hospital at Indianapolis. He was a retired railroader, working 54 years for the Baltimore & Ohio and Monon. Mr. Lewis was a member of Roachdale Christian Church and Roachdale Lodge 602, F&AM. Survivors include Dr. N. H. Shannon of Texas, Steven Wagner of Crawfordsville, Ronald E. Shannon of Indianapolis, Ernest Lewis, Grace Denny and Ittylene Cordell, and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Roachdale Christian Church with Rev. Herbert Wilson officiating and burial in Roachdale Cemetery. There will be Masonic graveside rites. Friends may call at Perkins Funeral Home after noon today.
