Mrs. Mary Florence Lewis, 52, of 3006 N. Keystone, Burbank, Calif., died at 4 a.m. yesterday in Burbank after a one-year illness. Mrs. Lewis graduated from Anderson High School in 1937 and was married here in 1941 to Delbert H. Lewis. She was born in Crawfordsville, the daughter of Robert D. and Reca E. Wilson Swank. She had resided in Burbank the past four years, moving from Columbus, Ohio, where she lived for ten years. Surviving with the husband are two daughters, Capt. Jane Lewis, a nurse in the U.S. Army, now in Burbank and Mrs. Kathy Ray, also of Burbank; a son, Sgt. Richard Lewis of the U.S. Marine Corps, stationed at Camp Pendleton, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Donald (Sally) Arbuckle of Anderson; a brother, Hugh William Swank of Emerson, N.J.; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Harold E. Rozelle Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip J. Williams officiating. Interment will take place in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
