Lewis - Hannah Hudson

"New Ross Item" -- Hannah Hudson was born February 14, 1847 (sic) in the state of Ky. She was married January 5, 1836 (sic) to Benjamin Lewis. To this union were born two sons and four daughters. Of the six children there are now living: John P, of Whitcomb, Wash; William H of Garvin, Iowa and Lucinda. Mrs. Lewis united with the ME Church at Brown's Chapel in Feb 1861 and continued a consistent christian throughout a long and useful life. She died at her home in New Ross Nov 18, 1903. The funeral occurred at the ME Church Fri. afternoon the services being conducted by the pastor, Rev ME Crowder. The interment was at Mt. Zion cem, E. of town. The family desire to thank the friends and neighbors for the kindness shown them during the long illness and death of Mrs. Lewis

Mrs. Hannah Lewis of Mace died on Nov 18. She was born Feb 14, 1817. Three children survive: WH Lewis of Garvin, Iowa; JP Lewis of Whatcom, Washington and Lucinda Lewis
