Faye W. Lewis, 73, of 915 Jennison St., died at his home Sunday. He had been in failing health for several months. He was born in Dayton, Ohio in 1896 and moved to Crawfordsville as a young man. He was employed at Donnelley's for 35 years, retiring in 1961. He was an officer of Lodge 50, F & AM, and York Rite. He was also a counselor for DeMolay, a Legion of Honor winner and a member of Murat Temple and Knights Templar. He is survived by two sons, Willard of Crawfordsville and Joseph Walter of Bluntsville; a daughter, Dorothea Thompson of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; two sisters, Lela Lee of Clearwater. Fla. and Vista Kimbrell of Erwin, Ohio, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at Bright Funeral Home Wednesday at 2 p.m., with Rev. Bennett Fulp officiating. Masonic Rites will be 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery, and friends may call after noon Tuesday. - jlr
