Waynetown, Feb 11 -- William Lewellen, 66, life long resident of Montgomery County died suddenly of heart failure at 3:45 o'clock this afternoon while working on his farm 5 miles southeast of Waynetown. Mr. Lewellen had been in declining health for the past year. The deceased was born in Montgomery County 10 miles southwest of Crawfordsville Nov 16, 1868 the son of Thomas and Mary Crabb Lewellen. He was married first to Josephine Davis who died 32 years ago and on Dec 20, 1905 he wed Maude Steele who survives. Mr. Lewellen was a member of the Ridge Farm United Brethren Church. Surviving besides the widow are a son, Byron Lewellen of Waynetown; two brothers, Edward and Bert Lewellen both of Crawfordsville, and a half brother, Henry Lewellen of Wingate. Funeral services will be conducted 1:30 Wed afternoon at Waynetown Baptist Church in charge of Rev. IC Overman. Burial will be made in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. - kbz
