John Lewellen died at 2 p.m. yesterday afternoon, aged 77 years. He was buried at the Weir Cemetery this afternoon. Uncle Johnnie, as he was called, was well known and liked for his hospitality. He came here from Butler County, Ohio, over fifty years ago, and settled on a farm in Balhinch. He leaves five sons and three daughters to mourn his loss. – thanks to S for this one
