Madison, Wis - Funeral services for Fred D. Lewellen, a former Crawfordsville resident were conducted at Schroeder Funeral Home, Madison Wis June 10. He died at age 66, June 7 at a Veterans Hospital in Madison. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Toby of Rt 7, Crawfordsville and Mrs. Hazel Boyland of Lafayette. He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters. He was born May 22, 1900 to Candy & Fannie Lewellen. He served during WWI with Co C as a machine gunner. He married Mildred Badeau of Madison. He was employed for several years with Kipps in Madison as a tool maker. He retired in 1962 due to ill health. Burial in Rose Lawn Cemetery, Madison.
