Lewellen - Frances Moore

Waynetown, Sept 17 -- Mrs. Frances A. Lewellen, a life-long resident of Wayne township, died at her home in Waynetown Friday morning at 7:30 o'clock after an illness of a year with complications. She had resided in Waynetown the past 23 years. Deceased was born near Alamo on April 7, 1861, the daughter of Allen and Louise Stonebraker Moore and became the wife of Thomas Lewellen on April 29, 1879. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband and 9 children: Mrs. Fred Wilkinson, Mrs. Frank Ellis, Mrs. Ralph Maxwell, Mrs. Herman Douglas, all of Crawfordsville; Mrs. Harold Rheil (Riehl) of Akron, Ohio and Walter Lewellen of Chicago, and Archie, Herbert and Edward Lewellen, all of Waynetown. The funeral will be held from the Waynetown Baptist Church at 1:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon in charge of Rev. Cletis Brown. Interment will be made at the Waynetown Cemetery. - kbz
