Miss Alma Leonard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Hohm, of Muncie, Ind died in that city on last Thursday night and was brought to this city on Friday evening for interment. Miss Leonard's death was the result of a peculiar injury. Four weeks ago she struck inside of her left ankle against the iron leg of a school desk. Her leg was swollen to double its normal size and she died from the effects of a surgical operation made by splitting the flesh to remove the shattered bones. Miss Leonard was the granddaughter of Mrs. SG Irsin of East Market Street, at whose residence the ceremony will be held. The services will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon, with Rev. Creighton officiating. Interment at Oak Hill - transcribed by kbz
