Lemon - Elenor

On Saturday at 3 o’clock, Mrs. Elenor Lemon, widow of the late AW Lemon died at the Fremont Street residence of her daughter, Mrs. Ella Carpenter. Mrs. Lemon was 74 years old and was taken suddenly by a paralytic stroke. She came with her husband from Fayette County 46 years ago and has since resided with us here. She was the mother of four children, three of whom survive her. Mrs. Lemon had been a devout member of the Methodist Church since early childhood and was in all things an exemplary Christian woman. The funeral took place from the residence of Mrs. Carpenter Sunday at 3 o’clock, Rev. DP McClain officiating.
