Waynetown – Armor Hale Legg, 72, of Waynetown died at 4:18 p.m. Friday in Culver Union Hospital.  Mr. Legg was a farmer and owner of Legg’s Farm Service. He was a member of the National Cattlemen’s Association and the United Methodist Church of Sumner, Ill. He was a charter member of the Hoosier Two-Cylinder Club.  His past memberships included the Elks, Masonic Lodge and Royal Neighbors of America. He was a 1936 graduate of Sumner HS.  He was born June 2, 1918, at Sumner, to H. Armor and Edna Ethel McCausland Legg. He married Edna Louise Kline May 18, 1941 at Waynetown. She died in 1989. Surviving are his mother of Waynetown; a son, David of Rt 1, Waynetown; a daughter, Mrs. Arley (Pauline) Alexander of Rt 1, Waynetown; an aunt, Naomi Stine of Sumner, Ill; and five granddaughters. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday in Thomas Funeral Home at Waynetown with Rev. James Ranard officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Edna Legg National Cattlewomen’s Scholarship Fund through the funeral home. - thanks to Sherry
