Milton Spencer Lee, 78 years old, a resident of this city most of his life, died suddenly Sunday morning in Amorita, Okla., at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Lester Jack, with whom he had been visiting the past four weeks. Death was reported to have been caused by a blood clot, following an attack of influenza. The son of William and Mariah Lee, pioneer residents of this community. Mr. Lee was married to Elizabeth May Bible, October 6, 1892, the wife preceding him in death March 6, 1936. He was a member of the Masonic lodge and for several years resided in the west. Surviving besides the daughter at whose home he died are: one son, Lucas, of Buffalo, N.Y., two granddaughters, Shirley and Charlotte LeGrange of Amorita, Okla., a niece, Mrs. Martin Shannon of Crawfordsville, and several cousins. Besides his wife, a brother, Lon preceded him in death. The body is scheduled to arrive here late tonight and will be taken to the family home, 607 Whitlock avenue, pending arrangements for the funeral.

Crawfordsville – Milton Spencer Lee, age 78, retired farmer, died Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lester Jack, Amorita, Okla. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge here. A son, Lucas Lee of Buffalo also survives.
