Charles Webster Lee, for 46 years a resident of Valparaiso died at 5 a.m. today in Porter Memorial Hospital. Death was due to bronchial pneumonia which developed following a fractured hip suffered in a fall two weeks ago at his home, 202 Franklin Avenue, Pioneer Flats. The decedent was born in Crawfordsville Aug 3, 1870, a son of David L and Mahala Jane (Courtney) Lee.  In 1902 he came to Valparaiso from Chicago. For a number of years he was employed in the shoe department at Lowenstine store. June 29, 1904 he was united in marriage to Olive M. Ritter in Valparaiso. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of this city. Surviving besides the widow are two sisters, Mrs. AB Jones and Mrs. Harley W. Ornbaun both of Crawfordsville. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Bartholomew Funeral Home, 202 Monroe Street with Rev. Oliver C. Starn of the First Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery. Friends may call at the Bartholomew Funeral Home from 7-9:30 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m Monday to time of services. – kbz
