Leaming - Joel

Joel Leaming, aged 87 years, died last Thursday afternoon at the county poor house. His funeral occurred Friday afternoon, with interment at Odd Fellows’ Cemetery. Mr. Leaming was one of the early settlers of this county and was at one time quite prosperous. He was a miller and did a large business. In his old age, however, he met with reverses and about a year ago was committed to the poor house. -s
