Funeral services for Frank E. Layne were held at the Bright Home Monday afternoon with Rev. Fred Hoffheinz in charge. Curtis E. Bright was the organist. Pallbearers who also assisted with the flowers were Robert McCormick, Donald Elkins and Raymond Abbott, all of Crawfordsville; Byron Fruits of Brownsburg; Delbert Layne of Fairborn, Ohio and Richard Myers of Hillsboro. Burial in Liberty Cemetery (Family plot). Mr. Layne, a native of this county had lived in Jeffersonville since 1934. -- kbz
