Layne - Anna Malsbary

Mrs. Anna M. Layne died at her home, 502 W. Market St., Sunday evening. She had been in failing health for two years. She was born in Montgomery County to Jaspar and Martha McClure Malsbary. She was married June 27, 1908, to Minter Layne, who was a photographer in Crawfordsville for several years. She was a member of the First Methodist Church and the GAR. She is survived by one son, Gregory M. Layne of Crawfordsville; a grandson, David Layne; a granddaughter, Mrs. Mary Ann McMurray of Valparaiso, a great-granddaughter, Kima Jo McMurray of Valparaiso and nieces and nephews. One son preceded her in death. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Monday.
