William Laymon dropped dead with heart disease at his home in this city on last Friday morning. He was born in 1852 and was the oldest son of Capt. WH Laymon. He leaves a wife and son. He had been in general decline for several months. His funeral was preached by Rev. Hugh McCalip on Sunday afternoon and remains were interred at Oak Hill.
