Wingate - Freeman Dewey Lawson, 59, died at 1:37 p.m. Monday in Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville, where he had been a patient five weeks. He suffered with a heart ailment. Born in Wingate, he attended school here and had lived in this community all his life. In 1932 he married Lucile Johnson of Linden. He was a member of Wingate Congregational Christ Church and Masonic Lodge No. 633. Surviving with the widow are a sister, Mrs. Clarence Rusk of Waynetown Rt 2; a brother, Fred of Hobbs, NM; and a half brother, Walter Coon of Wingate.
