Dana -- Elmer Lawson, 73, died Wednesday morning in Union Hospital at Terre Haute. He was born Feb 29, 1888 at Grange Corner, son of David and Ida Haga Lawson. He was married to Dora Mann, who survives. Survivors in addition to his wife include two brothers, Erwin of Danville, Ill and Ivan of Perrysville; two sisters, Mrs. Marty Abernathy and Mrs. Bessie Allen, both of Covington; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral rites will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Woodrow Funeral Home at Kingman with Rev. Dean Hartman in charge. Burial will be in Harveysburg Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home.
