Earl Laurimore, 79, of 1310 W. Main St., former county clerk, died Monday morning in Culver Hospital, where he had been a patient five weeks. He was in failing health the last three years. A son of Sylvester and Amelia Mella Laurimore, he was born near Thorntown on Nov. 17, 1889. He was married to Vida Scott at Indianapolis on Nov. 5, 1927. Most of their married life was spent in Crawfordsville. Mr. Laurimore was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He was employed years ago with The Crawfordsville Journal and later for eight years served as deputy county clerk. He served afterward for a term as county clerk. He was an Army veteran of World War I. Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Wayne Miller of Indianapolis and Mrs. Kenneth Brown of Crawfordsville; a brother, Karl M. Laurimore of Crawfordsville; a sister, Mrs. Otto Fitzpatrick of Crawfordsville, and three grandchildren, Danny, Philip and Teresa Brown. A brother, George, and granddaughter, Diana Cay Brown, are deceased. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bright Funeral Home with Revs. Keith Carlile and Carlisle Scott officiating and burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today. jlr
