ATTICA -- Carl William Larson, 69, of Bicknell, a long-time farmer in Davis Township of Fountain County, died Wednesday near his home after suffering an apparent heart attack. He was former owner of Redman's Restaurant in Attica and had retired from farming. He was a member of First Lutheran Church and a graduate of Attica High School. He was born near Attica on May 13, 1908, a son of John and Amanda Swanson Larson. He was married to Elgie Ott on Sept. 7, 1949, at Louisville. Surviving besides his wife is a stepdaughter, Mrs. James (Patricia Ann) Lenihan of Louisville; two sisters, Ellen Swanson and Marie Hogstrum, both of Attica; three brothers, Edgar, Louis and John Larson, all of Attica; and two step-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Maus Funeral Home with the Revs. Melvin Nead and Carl Corbell officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. --waw
