Largent - Nancy Reed - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Mrs. Nancy E. Largent of Lafayette, age 90, died Thursday morning, August 6, in the Knights of Pythias Home at Lafayette. She was born at Yeddo, February 22, 1891, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John D. Reed. April 17, 1907, she married Marcus Largent, who died in 1973. Mrs. Largent was a member of Elston Heights Baptist Church at Lafayette and had lived in Lafayette for the past 21 years, living in Crawfordsville and Linden before that time.

  Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Elnora E. Vail of Lafayette and Mrs. Margaret Chenault of Crawfordsville; nine grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Murphy, Hahn and Vahn Funeral Home in Lafayette with Rev. Paul M. Holt officiating. Burial was in Linden Cemetery.
