Lessie Lanham, 76, of 610 E. Wabash Ave., who taught for many years at William Woods College at Columbia, Mo., died Wednesday in Culver Hospital. She was graduated from Indiana University and received her master's degree from the University of Wisconsin. She was a member of First Christian Church, American Association of University Women, International Travel Study Club and American Red Cross. She was preceded in death in 1952 by a sister, Bess. There are no immediate survivors. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Burkhart Funeral Home with the Rev. John Glosser officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home at the time of service. Donations may be made in Miss Lanham's name to the American Red Cross.--waw
