William D. Lang, 63, 210 Maple St., an automobile mechanic for 40 years, died Friday morning in Robert Long Hospital at Indianapolis, where he had been a patient 11 days. He was a native of Covington, born Sept. 25, 1901 to Charles W. and Hetty Griffith Lang. He was married to Neta Woodrum Oct. 6, 1923 at Danville, Ind. She survives. Mr. Lang lived in Logansport, Darlington and Hammond before moving to Crawfordsville. Surviving besides the wife are five sons, Robert of Crawfordsville, Donald of Los Vegas, Nev., and Kenneth, James and Norman of Hammond; two brothers, Albert of Darlington and Roy of Pittsburgh, and six grandchildren. Funeral services are announced for 11 a.m. Monday at Bright Funeral Home with Rev. John C. Stacy of Christ Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery at Darlington.
