Military funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 at the Osborn Prairie Church for Pfc. Robert David Lang, 20, who was killed in cation with the Marine in Korea November 20, 1952. Pfc. Lang's body was taken Wednesday to the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Lang, of near Mellott, after arrival by train at 2 a.m. Wednesday. Surviving besides the parents are three brothers, Pfc Charles E., Arthur and Donald and two sisters, Mrs. Martha Briles of Fowler and Betty at home. Private services were held for the family before the military ceremony at the Osborn Prarie Church which was conducted by the Charles FOrrest American Legion Post of Veedersburg. - kbz
