Lang - Guy

Guy Lang, 53, died late Thursday afternoon at his farm home a mile east of here. He had been ill for several months and recently underwent a major operation at Urbana, Ill. He was born near here May 19, 1891, the son of Peter and Adell Harshberger Lang; and was married to Katherine Briles who survives. Other survivors include four daughters; Mrs. Maxine Coons, Wingate; Mrs. Doris Clark, Attica, Mrs. Mona Harburger, Veedersburg, and Miss Judith Lang, at home; two brothers, Pearl, Danville, Ill., and Gerald, Waynetown; two sisters, Mrs. Addie Boatman and Miss Bessie Lang, Waynetown. Funeral will be held at the residence two o'clock Sunday afternoon, with the Rev. H. H. Drake of Terre Haute in charge. Place of burial has not yet been selected. --Typed by Debby Masterson.
