Waynetown - Gerald H. Lang, 74, of Waynetown, a retired farmer and 20-year employee of Allison Div of General Motors at Indianapolis died Saturday in Culver Hospital at Cawfordsville where he had been a patient 12 days. Mr. Lang attended Osborne-Prairie Church and was a graduate of Covington HS. He was born April 27, 1896, north of Veedersburg, a son of Peter and Della Hershbarger Lang. He was first married to Florence Gale Galloway who died in March of 1933. On Dec 5, 1936, he married Rovena Beard Harrold. Surviving are his widow; two sons, Lowell of Waynetown and Dr. Lawrence of Muncie, and a nephew. He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Servies-Thomas Funeral Home here with Pastor M.C. Kidder officiating. Interment will be in Osborne-Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m .today
