Veedersburg -- Edward Glenn Lang, 71, night watchman for the American Vitrified Brick Co. in Crawfordsville, died at 6 p.m. Thursday in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville where he was admitted an hour earlier with a heart ailment. He was born in Veedersburg, Feb. 1, 1889, the son of Frank and Eliza Taylor Lang. He was twice married, first to Flossie Kurr, who died in 1925. In 1932 he married Alice Baldwin. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Fauna Lucas of Indianapolis; four sons, Gerald Lang of Portland, Ore., Norville Lang of Tuscola, Ill., and Glenn Lang and Jack Lang, both of Veedersburg; a sister, Mrs. Julia Fletcher of Veedersburg, and a brother, Morris Lang of Springfield, Ill. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. CST Saturday at the Fishero Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Rev. E. V. Wamsley officiating. Burial will be in Bonebrake Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.

Edward Glenn Lang, 71, died at 6 p.m. Thursday Oct 27, 1960 at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville where he had been admitted one hour before suffering from a heart condition. Born Feb 1, 1889 near Veedersburg the was the son of Frank and Eliza Taylor Lang. He was married to Flossie Kerr who preceded him in death in 1925. He was later married to Alice Baldwin who survives. Mr. Lang had been employed as a night watchman at the American Electrified Brick Co at Crawfordsville. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Bonnie Lucas of Indianapolis; four sons, Gerald of Depoe Bay, Ore; Norville of Tuscola; Dwaine and Jack, both of Veedersburg; a sister, Mrs. Julia Fletcher of Veedersburg and a brother, Morris of Springfield. Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday at Fishero Funeral Home. The Rev. EV Wamsley officiated with burial in Bonebrake Cemetery. – kbz
