John Verlin Lane, 51, Albuquerque, NM brother of Mrs. Joe Hesselgrave of Cawfordsville died last Thursday night at Albuquerque. He was born Jan 20, 1916 in Richmond, son of Mr. and Mrs. John G. Lane. He was married to Sara Clevenger who survives. Mr. Lane was a graduate of Tch HS at Indianapolis and veteran of WWII. He was an employee of the federal government. Mr. Lane visited here frequently. Survivors in addition to the widow and his siter are the mother Mrs. John Lane of Indianapolis; two daughters, Mrs. Nancy Kent and Miss Sherrie Lane both of Albuquerque; two brothers, Donald of Indianapolis and Clifford of Carmel and several aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Howard’s Funeral Home at Cambridge City. Burial in Fountain City cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home.
