John M. Lane died at his home on North Washington Street at 5 o’clock Wednesday after an illness of sixteen weeks. The funeral will occur Sunday afternoon at two o’clock from his late residence, conducted by Rev. Tharp, of the Christian Church. Interment will be at Oak Hill. John was born and raised in this county and would have been 39 years old the third of next March. He leaves a wife, two brothers, a sister, four half brothers and one half sister. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose and his widow wishes to thank the members of that order for the many kindnesses to her husband during his illness.
