The niece of a Crawfordsville brother and sister perished Friday morning in a fire which also took the lives of five of her eight children in Wilmington, Mass. Mrs. Nancy Landers, 36, and five of her eight children died in a fire early today when she ran back into her flaming home in a vain attempt to save her children. The blaze destroyed the interior of the 2½ story wooden house. The dead youngsters were identified as: David Jr., 13, William, 12, Kevin, 10, Lisa, 7, and Kathleen, 4. Mrs. Landers husband, David, 36, Joseph Casey, 22, a cousin, and three of the children - Michael, 16, Susan, 15, and Harry, 17, survived. Witnesses said Landers and Casey were burned badly. Mrs. Landers' aunt, Mrs. Mary Weaver, and uncle, Paul Devitt, live in Crawfordsville. - jlr
