Lamson - Oleander

Oleander Lamson, better known as "Ose" was the son of Thomas and Delilah Lamson, and was born near Rensseler, Jasper Co., Ind.. He was one of the oldest of a large family. After a few years he moved with his parents to Montgomery County where he spent the remainder of his life, having moved to his late residence several years ago. Born 19 Feb. 1859, died Nov. 25, 1930, aged 71 years, 9 months and 6 days. While never physically rugged, yet enjoyed good health until a few years ago. During his last sickness which extended over a period of several months he was always cheerful and bore it patiently believing in a truthful faith in God, that His will be done not mine. The deceased had many traits of character worthy of emulation - honesty, integrity, upright living, good and kind to all those who met him. Believing that the home was the most sacred place in life, and loved his home with all his heart. He leaves to mourn his departure five brothers and two sisters, John of Crawfordsville, Mrs. Martha Miller of New Market, Mrs. Kate Simpson of Browns Valley, Harry of Waveland, Charles, Rollo and Clifford at home.
