Lamson - Lloyd Clifford

Lloyd Clifford Lamson, 74 was found dead in bed at his home a mile west of town Wednesday morning, May 25. Lamson lived with a brother, Rollo W. Lamson, 73, on a farm owned by Raymond Greve of Waveland. Mr. Greve was working in a field near the house about 11 a.m. when Rollo called to him to say something was wrong with is brother. Mr Greve went to the house and found that Clifford was dead. Sheriff Ray Hardaker accompanied by Deputy Howard Conner were called to the scene. They estimated Mr. Lamson had been dead 10 to 12 hours. Death was believed to have been due to a heart attack or stroke. - transcribed by kbz
