Julius Lamson, who is well-known here, died at his home in New Richmond on Saturday. Funeral services at the home on Saturday afternoon were in charge of Rev. George Leonard, pastor of the New Richmond Christian Church. Those attending from here were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lamson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lamson and family, Ose, Rollo and Cliff Lamson. Mr. Lamson was born near Waveland April 23, 1863. He moved to a farm near New Richmond twenty-three years ago. Later, his health failing, he moved into New Richmond. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Minnie Carver Lamson; two sons, Frank and Hubert, of Chicago; and three daughters: Mrs. Nell Mason, Mrs. Mary Davidson and Miss Ruth Lamson, of New Richmond; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Miller of New Market and Mrs. Katherine Simpson of Veedersburg; five grandchildren and six brothers mentioned above. - transcribed by kbz
