Jennie H. LAMSON, age 83, a former Waveland resident, died Friday evening, March 14, 1958 in her son's home in Crawfordsville. She had been seriously ill for a week. Born Oct 16, 1874, the daughter of RTB and Liza Barnett Hamilton. She married Charles Lamson in Crawfordsville. Mrs. Lamson was a member of the Freedom Baptist Church. Survivors include the son, Thomas, of Crawfordsville; two sisters, Mrs. Jessie Babb and Miss Mable Hamilton; a brother, Walter Hamilton of Washington, DC; one granddaughter, Lou Ann Lamson of Crawfordsville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Machledt & Servies Funeral Home, Waveland, Rev. Carlton Christenson of 1st Baptist Church, Crawfordsville officiated and burial was made in Old Union Cemetery. - transcribed by kbz
