Hillsboro - Feb 15 -- J. F. LAMBDIN a well known and highly respected citizen of Hillsboro passed away at 1:30 this morning at his home here after suffering from meningitis for the past few weeks. Mr. Lambdin had been ill for about 14 months but not considered serious until a short time ago. The deceased was born in Orange County, Indiana in 1861 and in 1881 was united in marriage with Miss Hannah Apple. In 1891 he moved to a farm near Yeddo where he resided until 9 years ago. At that time he moved to the vicinity of Hillsboro. Besides the wife and one son, Elmer who lives in Veedersburg, Mr. Lambdin is survived by one sister, Mrs. Stella HUTTS of Hillsboro and six brothers. The funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10 o'clock at the Christian Church. The Rev. HA Davis will have charge and interment will be in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.

Frank Lambdin, who was stricken with meningitis about two weeks ago, died Monday at his home, south of Hillsboro. He was 59 years of age. He was a resident of Fountain county for thirty years and is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Clee Hutts of Hillsboro and son Elmer Lambdin of St. Joseph, Ill. Funeral services were held Thursday from the Christian church at Hillsboro. Interment was made in the Masonic cemetery.
