Robert Earl Lamb, the eleven year old son of William and Tilly Lamb, died in Terre Haute on May 30 of injuries received when he was struck by a Big Four passenger train. The lad was playing with some companions and accidentally got too near the tracks as the train came in. The body was brought here last Friday and was taken to the home of Frank Scaggs, on Market street. There were services at the house in the afternoon and the interment took place at Oak Hill. Mr. and Mrs. Lamb resided here until recently, he being employed at the Dovetail works. - thanks to Kim H
