WAVELAND—Mial E. Lamb, 83, of Waveland, a World War I veteran and civil engineer, died Friday in Indiana Soldiers Home at Lafayette. A native of Worden, Ill., he was a son of Benjamin and Minnie Spicer Lamb and was born July 1, 1887. He was married Dec. 28, 1917 in Ohio to Nella Huston of Waveland. She died in 1964. Survivors include a niece, Mrs. Esther Porter of Harper Woods, Mich.; two nephews and a brother-in-law, Joe Huston of Ann Arbor, Mich. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Machledt & Servies Funeral Home in Waveland. Rev. Grover DeNeal will officiate, with interment in Old Union Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. - typed by Chris M.
